Current Projects

One Place-Study

My one-place study focuses on the parish of Longstock in the Test Valley, Hampshire, a village close to the Iron Age hill fort of Danebury, and where my paternal grandfather once served as vicar. Through this project, I explore the lives, landscapes, and histories of a community across time.

Family History

My own family history research spans England and Wales. On my father’s side, roots stretch back to the textile trade in Norfolk; on my mother’s, stories link to the early days of the Bodleian Library, Oxford. These journeys of discovery have shaped my interest in uncovering the hidden stories within every family tree.

My one-name study explores the surname Pringuer and its variants, a name with undeniable Huguenot origins, found predominantly in Canterbury, Kent, and London. This project connects family stories with broader themes of migration, faith, and community identity.
